The history of physical education and sport in unions of the Kosmák region of Orel
DOLÁK, Jan
The bachelor's thesis deals with the history of physical education and sport in Kosmák County Orel. Kosmák County was established by agreeing to the division of West Moravian County at the General Congress of the Czechoslovak Eagle on July 31, 1947. The named county is based in Znojmo and the individual units are from the Znojmo region. However, the activities of this county were stopped by the communist regime. After many years under the communist regime, the county was successfully restored on January 1, 1996. In the individual phases after the restoration, unities were formed, but they did not survive on the Eagle scene and ceased their activities. Kosmák County now has 6 units: Mramotice, Pavlice, Přeskáče, Únanov, Vémyslice and Znojmo. The work further clarifies the life of the county patron Václav Kosmák. Secondly, it focuses on the course of Orel's activities from the beginning to the present and describes the personality of Orel's physical education, Jan Šrámek.

Tichá, Františka ; Kolář, Pavel (advisor) ; Veverková, Kamila (referee)
SOCIÁLNÍ ČINNOST NÁBOŽENSKÝCH OBCÍ ( CČS) OD JEJÍHO VZNIKU DO PADESATÝCH LET 20. STOLETÍ PARISH SOCIAL WORKS IN THE CZECHOSLOVAK CHURCH FROM 1920 - 1955 Autor: Františka Tichá In this work, I pursued the parish social works in the Czechoslovak church from its rise to 1950's. I partially captured an origin of the roots of the Christian church's social works in chapter two. Chapter three describes the rise of the Czechoslovak church and its social works development. The views of some of the Czechoslovak church's theologians on social concerns are captured in chapter four. Chapter five analyzes the social works in three selected parishes. In chapter six, I explained how the Czechoslovak church's teachings were implemented in parishes. Chapter seven discusses the downfall of the social works within the Czechoslovak church after February 1948. In conclusion, I have arrived at an opinion that the social works unions laid out an admirable effort in this field. It is unfortunate that due to the political changes in 1948 the social works unions had to undergo a liquidation.
The Interest Group the Union of Cities, Towns and Communities of the Czech Republic in the Process of Public Policy in the Czech Republic
Srnová, Eva ; Kotlas, Petr (advisor) ; Linek, Lukáš (referee)
Diploma thesis "The Interest Group the Union of Cities, Towns and Communities of the Czech Republic in the Process of Public Policy in the Czech Republic" is a deeper analysis of one of the important interest groups associating cities, towns and communities in the Czech public space, the Union of Cities, Towns and Communities of the Czech Republic. Activities of the Union and its contribution to the Czech public policy are in depth analyzed against a background of social movements and the theory of interest groups. The Union is assessed from the perspective of its history, types of interest groups and resources it manages (namely the membership base, financial means and means of public policy lobbying). The analysis indicates that the negative image that lobbying has in the Czech Republic needs not necessarily be fair. As an organization addressing peer groups, yet defending public interests due to the fact that the Union's members are as a part of public administration municipalities, the Union advocates those things that finally bring positive effects to lives of all citizens in the Czech Republic. In relation to challenges the Union currently faces the thesis covers also a case study of emergence of Sdružení místních samospráv. This Association of Local Governments that pursuant to the amended...
The attitude of CDU/CSU to the eastern and Germany policy of the social-liberal coalition in 1969-1973 and its influence on the then government
Mourková, Petra ; Nigrin, Tomáš (advisor) ; Handl, Vladimír (referee)
Bachelor thesis The attitude of the CDU/CSU to the Eastern and German policy of the social- liberal coalition in 1969-1973 and its influence on the then government focuses on the attitude of the CDU/CSU to Eastern and German politics in 1969-1973. This is the policy towards the Eastern Bloc countries that was pursued by Willy Brandt's social-liberal government. The presented thesis also deals with the influence of the Union on the promotion of Eastern and German policy in this period. After exactly 20 years in power, the Union had to accept the new role of the opposition party after the 1969 elections to the Bundestag. After three years of "unity" in a grand coalition led by Chancellor Kurt Georg Kiesinger, an imaginary period of ideological war with the SPD began, caused in particular by the question of Eastern and German politics. The thesis describes the main events in the promotion of German and Eastern policy, starting with the German-German summits in Erfurt and Kassel, through negotiations on agreements with the Eastern bloc countries to the accession of Germany and the GDR to the United Nations. The thesis is the assumption that the Union influenced the course of German and Eastern policy of the newly ruling social-liberal coalition, mainly through the main opposition figures.
The Lords of Hradec in the Hussite Times
Schejbalová, Dominika ; Čechura, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Jarošová, Markéta (referee)
In my diploma thesis I deal with the family of the lords of Hradec, who in the 15th century strongly opposed George of Poděbrady and at the same time worked in important diplomatic circles, mostly alongside the rulers of the Czech kingdom. The main point of my work is Menhart II. from Hradec, an important diplomat and nobleman who was an important figure in the Hussite era. I also focus on Oldřich V. of Hradec, who fought in the affairs of his father and Henry IV. from Hradec, appearing in a unity armed against George of Poděbrady. The work is supplemented by the Strakonice and Zelenohorský units, which arose during individual disputes.
